      Self-propelled air-defense mount. Tracked chassis with top mounted revolving turret. Armored body protects the crew and equipment against bullets and fragments.

      Data resources: target tracking radar, surveillance equipment, digital computer, optronic system, target search radar

      Hydraulically powered servo drives of vertical and horizontal laying ensure automatic laying and stabilization of the armament by the digital computer signals and semi-automatic laying by the command sensor signals.

      All processes of combat operation are automated. The digital computer, according to ad hoc algorithms, executes selection of an armament type and operation mode

    There are maintenance assets comprising three special-purpose vehicles aimed at upkeeping of the self-propelled air defense mount in operational state, namely: transporting-loading vehicle, electronic maintenance vehicle, mechanical maintenance vehicle.

    Two special-purpose vehicles for maintenance of the tracked chassis and SAM control checks can be additionally involved in the job.

    The 9F810-M simulator is designed for theoretical and practical training of the Tunguska, Tunguska-M and Tunguska-M1 ADGMS crews at a classroom.

    The simulator provides both individual and joint training of the crew members in different weather, time, climatic and operational and tactical conditions with check and recording of the training results.

    The 9F810M1 integrated simulator is designed for theoretical and practical training of commanders, gunners and radar operators of the Tunguska, Tunguska-M and Tunguska-M1 ADGMS at a classroom.

For extension of application conditions of the self-propelled aid defense mount missile armament as well as for decrease of target tracking errors by the optical channel during SAM firing the 2S6M1 self-propelled air defense mount can be fitted with the TV-IR automatic target tracking system and the modified search radar with extended up to 6000 m altitude detection zone.
