    The simulator is designed to train 9P163-2M launcher operators in basic skills of tracking and keeping the aiming mark of 1P45M-1 sighting-and-guidance unit and PPB-2-8 sight providing the ATGW operation and that of automatic grenade launcher and machine gun.

  • Advantages and Operating Features

The launcher provides engagement of modern and future tanks protected by ERA by day and at night as well as enemy’s manpower dangerous for tanks including those being in defence on reverse slopes of terrain. It can be installed on various wheeled and tracked chassis of domestic and foreign production.

The launcher has modular design and is designed for installation on armored vehicles (BRDM–2, BTR–70, BTR–80, MTLB etc.). It allowed for anti-bullet defence and small arms installation. To engage enemy’s manpower including those being in defence and on reverse slopes of terrain the fire is delivered from automatic grenade launcher or from machine gun. In these modes the operator detects and locks on the target through PPB optical sight, enters the relevant weapon laying angle value and opens the fire. The concealed enemy is engaged thanks to arranged fragmentation pattern of HEF grenades.
