GUIDED WEAPON SYSTEM

Designed to destroy targets by a first shot without fire adjustment including MBT, IFV, artillery cannons - as moving platforms (at a speed of up to 36 km/h) so as stationary assets, exposed and trenched, as well as bunkers, bridges, crossings, water-surface targets (warships, assault and transport vessels) at ranges from 3 to 20 km.

    Simulator is designed to provide individual and group training to artillery crews including LDR operators (ranging operators), commanders, battery senior officers and gun crews for main mission skills as well as for combined operation with the Krasnopol guided weapon.

  • Advantages and Performance Peculiarities

The Krasnopol operation is provided by standard artillery units and does not demand any additional requirements to firing position (FP) and command/observation post (COP) arrangement as well as to meteo preparation. The Krasnopol guided projectile can be fired from 152/155 mm towed guns and self-propelled howitzers located on exposed or covered positions.

To be compatible with standard ammunition racks in SP artillery guns, the projectile is designed to have two sections which are easily connected before firing provided by the quick-screwed joint.

Krasnopol GAP does not require specified checks and services during a 10-year indoor storage period.

The Krasnopol system can be used with laser target designators made in Russia (1D22, 1D26, LTsD-3М1) as well as with those of overseas production – made in France, for example (DHY307).
