      LDR is designed to detect targets, to determine target and explosion spatial polar coordinates, (range, azimuth, elevation), to provide target designation (lasing) for guided projectiles fired out from artillery cannons and mortars. LDR consists of transceiver, guidance system, tripod and independent supply source. LDR comprises an orienter with a magnetic needle. The transceiver design allows to adopt a thermal imager.

      This 3-5 µm thermal imaging sight (TIS) operates in a passive mode, boasts day and night capability and provides surveillance, detection and recognition under different weather conditions.

    The Simulator is designed to provide individual and group training in main mission functions and integrated interaction when the Krasnopol weapon system is used with Malakhit AAFCS. It is useful for artillery crews, LDR switching operators (range measuring operators), commanders, battery senior officers and gun crews.
