  • Pump-action and receiver without openings

Provide reliable operation. The GM-94 employs design scheme with a moving barrel located under the magazine. Manual reloading (so-called pump-action) provides reliable operation when using different ammunition types. Downward ejection of a fired case provides ease of firing from both the left and right shoulders.

It is possible to arm the GM-94 grenade launcher with different VGM93 43mm rounds. The VGM93 rounds significantly outperform in terms of combat effectiveness any other Russian and foreign rounds for hand-held and underbarrel grenade launchers.

including thermobaric and HE fragmentation grenades. Non-lethal rounds to the GM-94 cover rounds with grenade of irritating action, stun grenade producing a blinding flash of light and loud noise. Shock grenade with rubber-like body is intended for riot control.
The personnel training in handling and firing the grenade launcher is carried out using PUS GM-94 Practice shooting device.

These firing simulators (PUS) resemble the shape of live grenades (rounds) and feature the same weight. A special VGM93.800 drill round has been developed. Standard combat grenade launchers are used as launched equipment.
